"Chrysanthemum"
 
This is a hand printed art work inked from a linoleum block carving. The original drawing was sketched on paper then transferred to a piece of linoleum block where the image was carved using specific tools. The block is then inked by  rolling the ink with a brayer onto the surface where only the raised parts hold the ink. Paper is placed over the inked block and hand burnished onto it.
 
Paper size: 14.5" x 20" (36 cm x 50cm)
Image size: 12" x 18" (30 cm x 45cm)
 
Print is signed and numbered by the artist. Included with this print is a certificate of authenticity.
 
Hand printed on 100% cotton acid free Fabriano paper, made in Italy. This paper has hand torn edges.
 
The ink used is Cranfield Caligo relief oil based ink in black. 
 
*Due to the hand printing process, some ink marks are present around the border. This adds to the prints uniqueness as each print is different. They can be framed with them or covered by matting, whatever you prefer.*
 
Each print comes with a pair of cotton gloves you can use to protect the print when unrolling and handling. A care guide to unrolling and flattening print for framing is also included. 
 
Your print will ship within 1-2 weeks or sooner depending on inventory. Your print with come carefully wrapped and shipped in a hard protective tube.
